The world has been Whitney-less for just a short time, and it’s hard to believe that “The Voice” has been silenced. Her music has been in heavy rotation over the last few months, simply because we are not willing to let her go just yet. On the heels of Jordin Sparks’ touching tribute to Whitney on the Billboard Music Awards, the first track from the upcoming film, Sparkle, has been released. Whitney and Jordin duet on “Celebrate,” an uptempo song that finds our beloved icon sounding happy and upbeat. It’s a reminder to not mourn what we lost, but to celebrate the gift of her life.
Whitney sounds happier than ever, and that’s exactly how we want to remember her: happy, beautiful, and full of song.
