Video Rewind: India.Arie Lets Go And Soothes In “Cocoa Butter”

There’s something about rain that puts us in the mood for soothing music. India.Arie lets the love in with her brand new “Cocoa Butter” video. The track is a mellow healing groove, and an introduction to her upcoming album, SongVersation. As always, her skin glows in simple textured wraps, and we did notice the strategic Palmer’s Cocoa Butter placement in the clip! We wonder if there’s a deal in the works!

We recently were treated to an iHeartRadio showcase featuring the singer, and India. Arie explained the inspiration behind her upcoming project, from a health scare to some words from Cicely Tyson we can all live by: The gist of what she said to me was, ‘You need to break the shell and let life touch you,’” Ms. Arie recalled. “I credit Cicely Tyson for this album because that lesson made me not go to bed for two years.”

India’s new album is due June 25.
